We developed a new series of full range aluminum alloy composites materials by incorporating ceramic particles (silicon, silicon carbide, silicon nitride, diamond, alumina, boron, etc.) into existing aluminum alloys, significantly enhancing their mechanical properties.

Taking aluminum alloy A356 as an example, the new composite material achieves remarkable improvements: elastic modulus increases from 72GPa to 105 GPa, tensile strength rises from 275MPa to 350 MPa, yield strength improves from 185MPa to 300 MPa, and thermal expansion coefficient decreases from 21×10^-⁶/k to 16.3×10^-⁶/k.

For aluminum alloy 7075, the new material demonstrates even greater performance enhancements: elastic modulus increases from 72GPa to 170 GPa, tensile strength rises from 520MPa to 620 MPa, yield strength improves from 460MPa to 560 MPa, and thermal expansion coefficient reduces from 23.6×10^-⁶/k to 14×10^-⁶/k.

With its exceptional characteristics of high strength, toughness, and corrosion resistance, these materials may find extensive applications across multiple industries, including aerospace, automotive , military, valves and pipelines, and medical devices.
